Wizz Air Ukraine is intending to lunch a number of new international flights
to Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Russia in 2009.

The new Ukrainian AN-74 is capabale of multiple tasks, aerial and maritime patroling,
support of military ships with the possibility to counterattack an enemy, carrying out search and rescue operations, electronic
and radio reconnaissance, and determination of polution of the sea surface. Antonov says the new AN-74, developed with its
partners from France, Germany and Sweden, can be operated from poor quality runways which have pebbles, snow and ice.
In STOL (short take off and landing) mode
it can transport up to six tonne of cargo.

Ukraine's Cyclone-3 carrier rocket was developed by Pivdenne Design Bureau and
produced by Pivdennemash producction amalgamatiom. Ukraine's Cyclone-3 placed Russian
research spacecraft in orbit on Junuary 31, 2009.
It was the 122th launch of Cyclone rocket.
The Cyclone Launch Vehicle program will be implemented in the frames of the international
project for the launch of Cyclone-4 from Alcantara space center in Brazil . Ukraine and Brazil signed an agreement on for long-term cooparation in the use of the Cyclone-4
rocket at the Alcantara space center in Brazil . The first launch of the rocket from the Alcantara space center has been scheduled
for 2010.

Remondis Ukraine has reached an agreement with Ukraine city Melitopol, Zaporizzia
region on the creation of a joint venture. The contract to found TOV Remondis Melitopol was signed on 4 February, 2009 , the
German parent firm announced last week. The city Melitopol holds 49% of the shares in the joint venture and Remondis Ukraine
- 51%. The joint venture will provide all municipal waste management services and operate the landfill for the city. These
services included introducing separate waste collection and managing waste generated within city limits.
The Goverment of Ukraine is ready to implement investment projects with Sweden.
Prime minister of Ukraine, Yulia Tymoshenko told that the Parliament of Ukraine had already passed in the first reading the
bill aimed of the creation of a favorable investment climate for domestic and foreign investors. According to Prime Minister
of Ukraine, the bill provides a ten-year tax holiday for investors.
Ukrainian inventor Anatoliy Sinozatsky produced the Aggregate system for receiving
gas and oil from municipal waste. It can be a new innovative technology for municipal waste processing.

Naftogaz of Ukraine starts oil production from extension well in Egypt.
On February 18 Naftogaz company received , while drilling
an extension well Hg-34/3, oil inflow with a debit of 80 tons per day.
After testing, Naftogaz decided to consider the well as opened.
A production hight of 16 meters is the largest in the terms of volumes of oil stock.

Ukrainian rocket puts US satellite into orbit.
Ukrainian Zenit-3SLB carrier rocket was successfully launched from the Baikonur space
center under the Land Launch program, the liaison department of state-run design Yuzhnoye reported. The launch was effected
by the Space International Services company comprising Ukraine's Yuzhnoye and machine-building plant Yuzhmash, Russia's Energia
roket and space technology company and Lavochkin scientific production association, and others.
Ukrainian Zenit-3SLB was designed by Yuzhnoye (Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine). It took to the
geostationary orbit US communications satellite Telstar 11N weighting 4,010 kilograms.
